Three ways we work with investors
Every engagement is scoped and priced in writing before it begins. We would rather turn down work than deliver an analysis we cannot stand behind.
01 — Actionable Insights
In-Depth Research
A full written work-up on a single company — the kind of analysis that takes days rather than minutes, and reaches a conclusion it is willing to defend.
Best suited to
Investors weighing a meaningful position in a specific company who want the work done properly before committing capital.
What is included
- Business model breakdown in plain English — how the company actually earns money
- Multi-year financial analysis with emphasis on cash conversion, not just reported earnings
- Balance sheet and liquidity review, including debt maturities and refinancing exposure
- Competitive position: where the advantage comes from and how durable it looks
- Management assessment, incentive structure and capital allocation record
- Valuation across a range of scenarios, including an explicit downside case
- A stated bear case and the specific evidence that would change our view
02 — Data-Driven Decisions
Market Analysis
Sector and macro context, so you can tell the difference between a company that is genuinely mispriced and one that is simply moving with its industry.
Best suited to
Investors deciding where to allocate across industries, or sanity-checking whether a single-stock thesis is really a sector call in disguise.
What is included
- Sector structure: who competes with whom, and on what basis
- Peer-set comparison so any valuation gap has to be explained rather than assumed
- Cycle positioning — particularly important where peak earnings make a stock look deceptively cheap
- The macro variables that actually drive the sector, separated from the ones that merely correlate
- Regulatory and policy exposure relevant to the industry
- Written summary of what the data supports and, equally, what it does not
03 — Building Your Future
Smart Investing
The structural decisions — how much, how long, how diversified — that determine outcomes more reliably than any individual stock pick.
Best suited to
Investors who pick reasonable companies but suspect their portfolio construction is doing them more harm than their selection is doing good.
What is included
- Position sizing framework based on what you can afford to be wrong about
- Diversification and correlation review of an existing holdings list
- Time-horizon matching, so money needed soon is not exposed to long-duration risk
- Concentration and single-point-of-failure analysis
- A written investment policy you can hold yourself to when markets are unpleasant
- Rebalancing discipline and pre-committed rules for adding or trimming
Engagement
How working together actually goes
No surprises on scope, timeline or fee. Everything is agreed in writing first.
- 01
Introductory call
A short, no-obligation conversation about what you are trying to decide and whether we are the right people to help. If we are not, we will say so.
- 02
Scope and quote
We define exactly what will be delivered, the timeline, and the fee in writing before any work starts. No open-ended engagements.
- 03
The work
Research is conducted independently. We will come back to you with questions where your context genuinely affects the analysis.
- 04
Delivery and discussion
You receive the written research and a walkthrough call. You should finish that call able to argue the thesis yourself — including against it.

Fees
What this costs
Fees depend on the scope of the engagement — the number of companies, the depth of the work, and the turnaround required. Every quote is fixed and agreed in writing before work begins.
To be completed: published fee ranges or retainer tiers.
Not sure which of these you need?
Call Jerome directly and describe the decision you are facing. That conversation is free and there is no obligation.
